Angelic voices ring out

With the festive season upon us, it was a joy to welcome Renewal Choir from Bristol as they raised the roof with their rendition of Handel's Messiah - Soulful Celebration.

The audience were treated to a spectacular rendition on Quincy Jones' adaptation of Handel's classic. There was singing, swaying and a whole lot of enjoyment had by all.

The whole evening was superbly put together from start to finish. Guest MC Robbie Howells held proceedings together in his warm and witty manner. An accomplished singer himself, he had no hesitation in turning to the more than capable band to accompany him from time to time keeping them on their toes!

A good mixture of up tempo numbers as well as soulful ballads took us through the evening with outstanding solo performances dotted through out.

All Nations Centre served mulled punch with gingerbread men and luxury hot chocolate with mince pies filling the foyer with it's festive aroma.

With audience participation and a fair amount of clapping and swaying the evening was enjoyed by all.

The singing doesn't stop...

We're pleased to say there is more singing to come in December too.
